Popsicles

Ahh... something I forgot to mention in my summer love post, popsicles! I love them, all kinds, and sno cones, especially Josh's..... but that is a whole other story! Anyway back to popsicles, and yes, my last four posts are all from the same day, I got a little behind and thought if I put all in one post it would be too long. Now I am rambling.... Here are my kids enjoying popsicles just like their mom!

Water hose

After the water balloon excitement Jake was not really ready for the fun to end, so we turned on the hose. Remember when you were a kid how fun the hose was? Hopefully I am not the only one with that memory:) surely not that would be sad.... anyway hopefully my kids are making fond hose memories!

Water Balloons continued......

So... the water balloons from the last post were for Kenzi's soccer camp on Friday. I don't know if you remember last Friday but there was A LOT of rain! Needless to say we came home from soccer camp with all the same balloons that we brought. But we decided that such a good batch of water balloons should definitely not go to waste so.......

We had our own water balloon fight! Well sort of, we threw them around, Kenzi is the only one with any sort of aiming ability:)

Ok, so obviously Jake has pretty good aim too, I guess I am the only one who is lucky to hit someone standing a foot away from me! (Fortunately they take after their dad in this regard)

Water balloon fight over.... they are always disappointing aren't they?? It takes 45 minutes to fill the ice chest and 3 minutes into the fun this what you have........

Oh well it was fun while it lasted!

The Park

So... Kenzi's request today was to go to the park and picnic. It was a good idea, I like going to the park and picnicing is fun, Jake does not really understand the concept. He would rather play than eat so that part is kinda lost on him:) Anyway we packed sandwiches and headed to the park down the street! It was fun!

I tried, as i often do, to get some together pics of all the kiddos:) I have know idea how to accomplish this task! It is an absolute circus every time I try... Individually they are all very photogenic (not that I am biased) but as a whole geez louise!! Jake has figured out that I want him to sit still so he is dead set on doing the opposite, Kenzi, bless her heart is trying to manage the little hoodlums, and Connor, well he is only 6 months old so I cut him a little slack!

Daddy's Helper

This was just one of those moments...... too cute!!! Jake got a bubble mower for his birthday last year and I had put it away to save for summer time. Well summer is here and Daddy was going to mow so I decided to pull it out and let Jake "help" with the yard work. He could not have been more excited or proud! Too precious!!

He was satisfied with his mower for a while and then Tony let him help push the big mower... well there was no turning back after that he was totally pumped! Again, could this be cuter??

Summer

I love summer!! I love being outside, I love the freedom, eating outside, daylight at 8 pm, playing in the water, the smell of fresh cut grass, and now that I have boys I have a new love.... little bare baby boy bellies!!

How cute are they, I just want to eat them up!

Getting Started

Ok here goes, I have never done this before and honestly have no idea what I am doing:)

I have been spending more time online lately (not very productive) and have been following a few people on their blogs, I just keep thinking, this is really cool I should do one of these.... so here I am! My hope is that I can use this to; one document things for myself and two share bits of my daily life with people who might care about such things:) If this follows the pattern of most things like this in my life it may not go on very long, but I am hoping I will be more diligent and turn over a new leaf:)....... we'll see!!
